The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) created this ASGE CRC Screening Playbook knowing that colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading causes of cancer death for both men and women and because the follow-up colonoscopy rate for underserved patients in the US is just 50 to 70 percent. The ASGE CRC Screening Playbook is a free, user-friendly resource for federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), health care systems, government entities and advocacy organizations to increase CRC screening and follow-up colonoscopy rates for underserved patients.
